Dear Parents,
I’m writing to address a serious and growing concern regarding conduct at our youth soccer games.
It has come to our attention that some parents have been involved in verbal altercations, the use of profanity—including directed at players—and even physical confrontations with other spectators. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable and will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Let me be clear:
• Any form of violence, aggressive behavior, or foul language, whether directed at referees, other parents, coaches, or players, is a violation of the standards we hold for this program.
• These actions are not only deeply damaging to the players’ experience, they also undermine the purpose of youth sports—which is to provide a safe, respectful, and positive environment for our children to grow, learn, and have fun.
We understand emotions can run high, but we must all remember: these are children playing a game. They are watching us, and we are responsible for setting the example.
Let’s come together to protect the integrity of the game and the well-being of every child on the field.
Thank you for your immediate attention and cooperation
